Maison de Suis is located in the middle Matterhorn Valley, near the Marmore stream, in Suis Hamlet one of the seven hamlets, about 38 km from from Aosta.

How to get here: Firstly you must arrive at Buisson and then take the cablecar Buisson-Chamois.

How to reach Buisson and take the cable car Buisson-Chamois.

By Car:

–Motoway A5 Turin-Aosta. Exit Châtillon / Saint-Vincent and follow signs to Valtournenche / Cervinia and take the SR 46 road until Buisson (about 3 km after Antey-Saint-André).

–Highway SS 26 of the Valle d’Aosta. Reach Châtillon and continue on SR46 of Valtournenche towards Breuil-Cervinia to Buisson

By public transport:

Take the train line Torino-Chivasso-Aosta. Arrival station Châtillon / Saint-Vincent. Take the bus in front the Chatillon station. Savda company runs the bus service (tel. 0165.361244). Bus is available at station with the arrival of the main trains. The ride takes about 30 minutes.

Buses take daily trips Savda, Sadem and Stat to Aosta, from Milan, Turin and Genoa, and change in Chatillon.

Buses stop at the Buisson – Chamois cable car.

Once in Buisson leave luggage in front of the cable car. Park the car at the Buisson-Chamois cablecar parking space (free and secure).

Buy tickets at the cable car office and load your luggage on the cable car(cost 2 € Return, 5 minutes journay). The cable car arrives at the Corgnolaz square- the main hamlet of Chamois- and we will be waiting.

You can bring your bike on the cable car, paying 20 cents extra.

Chamois is a free car village.

How to get to Maison de Suis from Corgnolaz-Chamois

By foot: Maison de Suis is situated in the Suis hamlet. From the square of Corgnolaz -Chamois, you take a 20 minutes walk and you will be in the Suis village. We recommend using the backpack. A sign will show the way.

Electric car: We can book for your a transfer service for your luggage and / or people. An Electric car run by the City of Chamois provide the service.

Second Option: How to get to Maison de Suis from La Magdeleine ( Matterhorn Balcony)

Reach Châtillon and continue on Valtournenche road SR46 towards Breuil-Cervinia until Antey-St André. Turn right towards La Magdeleine and then follow Chamois sign until the parking space. Leave the car on the parking space. We recommend using the backpack. You walk on a pathway: the Matterhorn balcony. It takes about 1 hour walk (a minimum of difference of level).
